The Next Coen Bros. Movie Is About Folk Singer Dave Van Ronk

(the soundtrack of which went on to win the Grammy for Album of the Year) to Autobahn in 'The Big Lebowski,' the Coens make sure each film has a perfect selection of songs to accompany it.

However, the brothers' next flick may shape up to be their most musical yet. The two are currently working on a movie loosely based on the life of singer Dave Van Ronk and the Greenwich Village folk scene in the 1960s, according to an unidentified source in the L.A. Times. The source went on to state that Joel and Ethan were basing the film off of Van Ronk's posthumous memoir, 'The Mayor of MacDougal Street.' Continue Reading
