'The Evil Dead' Remake Confirmed by Bruce Cambell and His Twitter Account

All right, you primitive screwheads, listen up!

If you've seen 'The Evil Dead,' 'Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn' or 'Army of Darkness,' chances are you already know that Bruce Campbell is the man. But as good as he's been on 'Burn Notice' these past four years and as much as we worship anything he touches, the one thing we and everyone else have wanted from the guy was to see him reprise the groovy role of Ash that gave him his start as a B-movie god.

Lo and behold, a week after joining Twitter, one of his many followers posted the message: "I won't believe in a new Evil Dead film until I see it, or at least not until [Bruce Campbell] tells me to believe in it." And wouldn't you know it, Campbell wrote back with the message we've been waiting to see for almost two decades: "Believe in the remake, dawg! The project is real. In the works. Cool as hell. Scary as hell."
