Rooney Mara goes punk -- and nearly naked -- in the just-released poster of the US remake of 'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo,' with her co-star, a grim-looking Daniel Craig.
As heroine Lisbeth Salander, Mara is tattooed, pierced, and wearing about a pound of eyeliner ... and also topless. (Thanks to Us Weekly for censoring the poster for the upcoming R-rated thriller.)
This film looks very dark, as we already knew from the first trailer, and the fact that it's directed by 'Se7en' and 'Fight Club''s David Fincher.
Craig plays journalist Mikael Blomkvist who comes to Lisbeth's aid as he investigates the cover-up of horrific abuse she underwent as a girl. The movie opens December 21.
