Awards Bites: 'Inception,' 'The Social Network' and 'True Grit' All Win Big

We're less than a week away from the 83rd annual Academy Awards broadcast, so lots of film organizations spent this past weekend doling out their prizes before the official end of awards season next Sunday. Here's a roundup of what you missed.

The Motion Picture Sound Editors doled out their Golden Reel Awards at the Westin Bonaventure in LA yesterday. Christopher Nolan's 'Inception' was the event's big winner, taking home two trophies in the Best Sound Effects & Foley and Best Music in a Feature Film. Meanwhile, 'The Social Network' took home the prize for Best Sound Editing for Dialogue and ADR in a Feature Film.

Gamblers looking to bet on the Oscars will want to note that 'Inception' was the only sound editing Oscar nominee to win a Golden Reel. Could it be a sign? Please wager responsibly. THR has the full list of winners.
