Denver Screening Criteria for Blunt Cerebrovascular Injury

Blunt cerebrovascular injury (i.e., damage to the carotid and/or vertebral arteries) is an increasingly recognized entity in trauma and the Denver Screening Criteria have been developed to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of this condition.

The screening signs and symptoms of BCVI include:

Focal neuorlogical deficit
