Ever wanted to break into the movie biz? Have a hot idea you're certain would make a fantastic feature film? Then this could be the big break you've been looking for. American Express is currently running a YouTube contest in conjunction with the Tribeca Film Festival. The rules are simple -- make a video of yourself in one minute or less, pitching an idea for a movie. Once it's posted on YouTube, the great democracy known as the Internet will vote on the submissions and choose a winner. Your prize for emerging victorious? Having your pitch idea turned into a short feature directed by a Tribeca filmmaker and a VIP pass to the premiere of your dream project at next year's festival. Who knows where that could lead?

As you can imagine, submissions are pouring in. There are some gems out there with a real shot at getting made, but for every one of those there seem to be at least five really hilarious pitches that probably won't win, but do provide some entertainment for your time. Some are so outrageous that you just have to see them for yourself. So, with that in mind, hop past the jump and check out ten of the funniest submissions we've found so far. Continue Reading
