Moviefone Mama Says: This villain-as-ultimate-superhero adventure is good for a family movie night, particularly if your clan includes superhero fans who never tire of caped crusaders. There's a top-notch voicecast (Pitt's not around much but that's fine, since he's not exactly a comedian like the rest of the cast), especially Ferrell, Fey and Hill, the last being hilarious as a schlubby cameraman who's turned into a superhero slacker. (Even as an animated, beefed-up hero, Hill can't escape typecasting.) Ferrell and Fey lead the way, and the 'SNL' alums are clearly gifted with their comic timing. It was one of the best family movies of 2010, but be aware that some very young viewers may be extremely upset at a character's death. It's central to the plot, so I won't spoil it, but let's just say everything isn't as it seems. Continue Reading
